Resident receives degree from Mercyhurst University

ERIE, PA — Nicole Pica of West Conshohocken, was a member of the Class of 2012 and received a degree at the 84th Commencement of Mercyhurst University.
Pica graduated with a/an BA degree in business.
Mercyhurst University President Dr. Thomas J. Gamble presented diplomas during the 2 p.m. ceremony at the Bayfront Convention Center in downtown Erie.
Mercyhurst University, founded in 1926 by the Sisters of Mercy, is a fully accredited, four-year, Catholic comprehensive institution, in Erie, Pa. The university offers more than 100 majors, minors and concentrations, as well as unique post baccalaureate advanced certificate programs and seven master’s degree programs. In addition, Mercyhurst provides certificate and associate degree programs at branch campuses in North East, Girard and Corry, Pa.

Royersford resident graduates from Clearwater Christian

Bryan Spears of Royersford graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Clearwater Christian College in Clearwater, Fla., during the spring commencement ceremonies hat Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater.
Bryan is the son of Jim and Kathy Spears of Royersford.
Located on a 138-acre property on Tampa Bay, Clearwater Christian College is home to over 500 undergraduate and graduate students pursuing a distinct Christian education in a traditional liberal arts environment. Clearwater Christian College is recognized by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).

U. of New Hampshire announces graduates

DURHAM, NH (readMedia)— The following students graduated from the University of New Hampshire during the commencement ceremony held Saturday, May 19, 2012, in Durham, N.H.
Students who received the honor of summa cum laude graduated with a GPA of 3.7-4.0; students who received the honor of magna cum laude graduated with a GPA of 3.50-3.69; and students who received the honor of cum laude graduated with a GPA of 3.2-3.49.
Matthew DiGirolamo of Penllyn earned a B.S. degree in business adminstration/finance, cum laude.
Emily Gross of Lafayette Hill earned a B.A. degree in anthropology.
Andrew Kennedy of Royersford earned a B.S.M.E. degree in mechanical engineering magna cum laude.
