Wilkes U awards degrees

Wilkes University awarded 374 doctoral, master’s and bachelor’s degrees at the summer commencement ceremony held on Sept. 8 in the Arnaud C. Marts Sports and Conference Center. Monica Caccese of Collegeville; Justin Flamini of Collegeville; Danielle Ricchini of Schwenksville; Christopher Vilello of Collegeville. Wilkes University is an independent institution of higher education dedicated to academic and intellectual excellence through mentoring in the liberal arts, sciences, and professional programs.

Zarb School names Dean's Business Scholars

HEMPSTEAD, NY (readMedia)-- More than 35 high-achieving first-year students have been named Dean's Business Scholars by the Frank G. Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University. The program is designed to provide students with special opportunities to engage with faculty and industry executives to help them build their leadership skills. MCCC students inducted into Phi Theta Kappa chapters

A total of 165 students were inducted into the Montgomery County Community College Alpha Kappa Zeta and Beta Tau Lambda chapters of Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society of two-year colleges, during the fall 2013 semester. To be eligible for PTK membership, students must maintain a grade point average of 3.5 and must have completed at least 12 credits.
